The content of the event is
The title is
[New Year Celebration] Cheers at home with Wakatakeya Sake Brewery's Vice President Shinoda, who loves cooking! We will teach you the exquisite sake mariage recipe!
So, in advance, we sent out a leaflet with 3 types of Japanese sake from Wakatakeya Sake Brewery (drink size 180ml) and a mariage recipe written directly by Vice President Shinoda.

And on the day of the event, we toasted online with Vice President Shinoda!
During the event planning, it was decided that President Hayashida would participate, and he communicated with customers on YouTube Live.
This time too, Zoom and YouTube Live were broadcast simultaneously, and Zoom was held with a limited number of people.
Main flow of the event

The main flow of the meeting is as follows.
- Opening greeting
- Appearance of Vice President Shinoda
- Cheers
- Self-introduction of Wakatakeya Sake Brewery Vice President Shinoda
- About the basic idea of mariage
- 1st question time
- toilet break
- Explaining the sake manufacturing process while watching the Wakatakeya Sake Brewery PV
- free time
- last toast
Regarding the idea of sake mariage,
- Taste concentration (dark yui x dark yui, etc.)
- Temperature range (hot pot, hot sake, etc.)
- Texture (for smooth foods, light-tasting alcohol, etc.)
It is basic to combine these three, and regarding the difference in the marriage of wine and sake.
With wine, you drink the wine after completely swallowing the food, but with sake, you can enjoy the marriage of sake with the food in your mouth.
I hope I learned something new and discovered something new.
Thoughts after holding the second event

Honestly, I have a lot of things to reflect on this time.
For some reason, the moderation process was not as smooth as last time, and I realized how difficult online events are.
What I felt this time
- If you have participants participate on mute, it will be difficult to get a sense of the atmosphere and there will be no sense of unity.
- Timing is very difficult when it comes to online support.
- If you try too hard to follow the structure, it will feel unnatural.
- The introduction from the creator was too thick, and I, the moderator, talked too much, which caused the participants to get bored.
- I have to focus on various things such as Zoom, YouTube, the facial expressions of the participants, the stories of the creators and participants, the progress, and I can't concentrate.
- The video is choppy and doesn't communicate properly.
This is an issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible, and we will be looking for ways to improve it.
To be honest, I was so frustrated last night that I couldn't sleep at all.
About the third event
The next event will be held next year on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 20:00.
Next time, we will be featuring the Komori sisters from Kiyama Town, Saga Prefecture, who are the Kimine Tsuru!
The title is currently tentative, but
[For sake beginners] What are Junmai, Ginjo, and Daiginjo? Cheers with the brewery at home

(*This is a temporary banner. It is subject to change.)
So, we are planning to learn what Junmai, Ginjo, and Daiginjo are, and also experience the taste of sake that changes depending on the rice polishing ratio by sending out three different types of sake!
Actual sake rice grains will also be included, so I think it will be a rare experience for those who have never seen actual sake rice!
Although the event is said to be aimed at beginners, I think it will also be an interesting event for those who are familiar with sake, so please come and join us.
I think we will be able to start accepting applications by next week, so we will be announcing them on social media and other channels.
