Online sake brewery study abroad

Asahi Sake Brewery was founded in 1898 after working as a private store.

The brand name at that time, ``Shirayuki'', became ``+Rising Sun'', and continues to this day.

In 2013, we took over the "Yachiho" brand from Furukawa Sake Brewery in Taisha-cho, Izumo City, and we cherish both brands individually.

Preparation is still carried out in the clay-walled storehouse built in 1920. Inside the sake brewery, which seems to be breathing, sake brewing continues, using mainly tools made from natural materials, in which people interact with the rice and microorganisms.

This time,"Junmai Ginjo "Kiu" Raw"and"The Ten Rising Suns" Ikumoto "Genki Rice of Mibata"And Shimane specialty"Delicious Tsuda turnips from Izumo [dried pickles]"We will deliver it to you!

This time, Eriko Terada, who was born as the eldest daughter of Asahi Sake Brewery and currently serves as the deputy chief brewer, will be on stage.

Junmai Ginjo “Kenu” Raw (300ml)

It will be released on the day of the online sake brewery study abroad (Saturday, February 4th), so stay tuned!

Ten Rising Suns Ikumoto “Mibata Genki Rice” (300ml)

We use ``improved Omachi'' sake rice, which is grown without the use of pesticides in the Miwata area of Sada-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. There are no yeast additives as this is a natural way to make sake. It has a mild aroma and is characterized by dry, rice flavor and gentle acidity.

Delicious Tsuda turnips from Izumo [dried pickles]

A very popular product of Kenchanzuke, which has a shop in front of the main gate of Izumo Taisha Shrine. Tsuda turnips, a specialty of Shimane, are dried in the cold winter wind and pickled with only sun-salted salt and rice bran from Shimane Prefecture, giving them the original crunchy texture of Tsuda turnips and the delicious flavor that has been slowly aged and fermented on a bed of rice bran. A traditional pickle with a nostalgic taste that spreads in your mouth as you chew.
