Takazawa Sake Brewery
(Takasawa Shuzojo)
Founded around 1872 (Meiji 5).
The representative brand is Ariiso Akebono. This sake brewery is still committed to traditional hand-made sake, preserving and handing down the ``Tank Shibori'' technique.
Takazawa Sake Brewery began at the end of the Edo period, when the first generation Riemon moved to this area of Himi and began brewing sake. With the support of many people, we have continued to brew sake with abundant well water and the cold sea breeze blowing from Toyama Bay.
Meanwhile, at 16:10 on January 1, 2020, our company suffered severe damage due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The rice and sake storage warehouses have been determined to be completely destroyed, and the brewery built in the Taisho era has cracks and is in a dangerous situation unless reinforced.

Reason for introducing Takazawa Sake Brewery
When I visited the Noto Peninsula in February, I visited Toyama Prefecture to learn about the current state of sake breweries.
Although the image of Noto Peninsula = Ishikawa Prefecture is leading, Himi City in Toyama Prefecture is actually a part of Noto Peninsula.
At the time of the earthquake, we felt a tremendous tremor, and even though part of our brewery was completely destroyed and we had no choice but to rebuild, he said, ``I feel sorry for the sake breweries in Oku-Noto, and I can't say out loud that we too have been affected.''
Nine months have passed since the earthquake, and in order to not forget the tragedy, and to let you know that there are breweries here that are trying to recover from the disaster, I would like to take a look at Takazawa Sake Brewery.
This time, we will be bringing you two locally distributed products, ``Junmai Ginjo Shishi no Mai'' and ``Junmai Sake Tairyobata''!
Enjoy a glass of sake from Himi's only sake brewery, Takazawa Sake Brewery.
We look forward to your participation!
