This time's recommendation
Genryu Doburoku Old Age (Kamidai)
A certain sake brewery in the Kamishiro area of Hoki Town merged with a sake brewery in Yonago City. However, it went out of business in 2009.
Kamishiro Co., Ltd. was established in May 2009 with the aim of revitalizing the Kamishiro district, where there was originally a sake brewery, with ``Doburoku'' and ``Soba.''
In July of the same year, Tottori Prefecture received approval as the first Doburoku special zone, and in December, a factory was established on the site of the abandoned Fukuoka branch of Nibu Elementary School, and Doburoku production began in January of the following year.
In 2021 (Reiwa 3), we are on the verge of going out of business due to the aging of the management team and manufacturers, and a decrease in sales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Misato Endo and Yuya Ukegawa established the company with the desire to preserve the good things of Tottori Prefecture, as well as the desire to preserve the good things of Tottori Prefecture since its founding.Business successionI did.
All of our products are brewed using Gohyakumangoku sake rice grown in Hoki Town, which is 50% polished, and the clear headwaters of the Nogami River in the Hino River system.
As a town development company, we aim to realize regional exchanges that transcend generations, continue to protect the rich nature and culture together with the region, and deliver "thoughts and atmosphere" to people.

Representative Director Misato Endo
Born in 1997 in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. I love Tottori, and even while studying at a university in Osaka, I was always wondering if I could do something locally, such as opening a tapioca specialty store in Tottori for a limited time. After graduating, I got a job in Osaka, but I still had a strong desire to contribute to Tottori, so I made a U-turn. Appointed president in August 2022.
Chief brewer Yuya Ukegawa
Born in 1995. Born in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture. After studying agriculture at a local university in Kagawa, he worked in sales for a major manufacturer. While selling the company's products as a salesperson, I felt a strong desire to sell something I had made from scratch. By chance, he moved to Tottori Prefecture, where he is now realizing his dreams through traditional sake brewing.
Reason for introducing “Genryu Doburoku Jodai”
This is the first time that we will be introducing sake breweries in Tottori Prefecture through online sake brewery study abroad.
Mr. Endo and Mr. Ukegawa took over the brewery after it was on the verge of going out of business because of their company and their desire to contribute to Tottori.
This time, we will be offering three bottles: the signature product "Genryu Doburoku Jodai", the low-alcohol doburoku "Moromi Bijin", and the amazake "AM7".
Enjoy interacting not only with the brewery but also with the international sake brewery students (participants).♩
We look forward to your participation!
